Strawberries, bananas, milk and honey are the only 4 ingredients in this frosty Strawberry Whip dessert! Perfect as a Valentine’s Day treat for kids. Similar to Dole Whip but with strawberries!
This dessert is creamy, frosty and delicious. Sweetened with honey instead of sugar or syrups, it’s a healthy Valentine’s Day treat! Enjoy a Strawberry Whip dessert with your whole family.
This treat reminds me a lot of pineapple dole whip from Disneyland. It’s not quite ice cream and not quite a smoothie. This cold delight has a similar texture to whipped cream. The kids love this dessert because it tastes sweet like sorbet, but it doesn’t have any added sugar!
For best results you’ll need a powerful blender. This recipe takes a lot of blending to get the right frothy, smooth texture. You may need to shake the blender jar in between blends. Avoid adding extra liquid to try and make it blend faster. The texture depends on the firmness of the fruit.

- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Honey (*omit if serving to infant under 12 months old)

Notes
I use 2% milk for this recipe, but you can also use coconut milk, soy milk or oat milk for a dairy free version.
*According to the American Academy of Pediatrics caregivers should never serve honey to babies under 12 months old. This is because it can cause botulism. Check out this article to learn more. Leave out the honey for infants under 1.
